Each walk brings distinctive variety, beauty and surprise. Woodstock, with its proximity to the Appalachian Trail and its network of charming back-country roads, is a Walker's Paradise.

OUR GUIDES:

Woodland, Birding, and Butterfly Guide, Kent McFarland, is a noted wildlife biologist with the Vermont Center for Eco Studies. See Kent's work at www.vtecostudies.org.  We have yet to discover a bird or a bush that Kent cannot identify.

Scenic Guide, Suzanne Wooten, tailors a Woodstock Day to your specific preferences.

Snowshoe Guide, Marc Weinstein, is an Historical Interpreter at Woodstock's Billings Farm & Museum and "the Snowshoe Expert" at Woodstock's Nordic Center.

MORNING LIGHT & EVENING LIGHT PHOTOWALKS

Led by photographer Joyce Dann, whose knowledge of the most beautiful places in Woodstock dates from childhood.

These are not teaching classes.  They are guided walks for photographers with any camera at any skill level. Walks begin mid-June, conclude mid-October, and are made by appointment. Group limit is 5 persons.  Choose a one or two-day schedule.  A single walk is $40. Two walks total $70.
